Peppermint: Why You Should Grow It

Why Grow Peppermint? Peppermint, first cultivated in England around 1750, as an experimental hybrid between watermint and spearmint. Now, you can find this plant nearly anywhere in the world. Growing peppermint isn’t too hard, though the plant will need lots of water (as it's often found by streams or rivers). It doesn’t tolerate dry conditions well, and while partial sun is recommended, planting it in full sun could help it increase the potency of its effects.
